Postby ThirdgenRallySport on Fri Feb 22, 2008 5:45 pm

mod please move this to events forum.
--------------------------------------------------------

March 9th @ 10:30 we will be meeting at South County Hooters,
We will be leaving at 11:00 sharp, this cruise is about 130miles round trip, and is almost an all day thing but its worth it.

If weather becomes a factor the cruise will be rescheduled.

First leg of the journey brings us to Fort De Chartres
link to fort- http://www.swi-news.com/FortdeChartres.htm
Stay time will be about an hour

Second Leg of journey takes us to Fort Kaskaskia that over looks the river.
http://www.illinoishistory.gov/hs/fort_kaskaskia.htm
Stay time will be about an hour

Directions posted give directions to both places

After the last fort we are going to go to Reids harvest house to eat. I will have a separate thread for those that will be eating. I have ate there the last two cruises. The food is amazing imo.

I should be there if the car is all done for KCIR. If not, I might try and bring the '95 instead.

If my car doesn't have a coolant leak I'll come. It's too cold to get underneath it right now and I thought I smelled coolant last time I drove it.

Or I might see if I can borrow Krista's IROC and drive it since hardly anyone has seen it since we painted it. :D
